A popular local teacher, active community leader and pioneer citizen, Colonel James King was a British-born lad now considered the “Founder of Kingsville.” Colonel King played a pivotal role in Kingsville’s early development, building the area's first house, and collaborating with Hiram Walker to establish "Paradise Grove". In recognition of their founder, “Kingsville” was chosen by its citizens in 1852 as the town's name. We crafted a British-style brew as a toast to Colonel King's Loyalist roots. This robust brown ale has a handsome table presence with blossoming notes of hazelnut and toffee. |
